Renault Alpine was created in the year 1957 and was produced as coupe-type car. Through the years of its production the vehicle had achieved the reputation of a perfect car for rallies and championships. The generations of the vehicle were innumerous and the most recent version was probably the most expected concept car. It was produced in the year 2012 as a supercar, willing to beat all possible records and achievements.
The new concept car will be available with 3.0-liter engine, which will produce 400 horsepower. The model is rear-wheel drive car, with rear-mid engine displacement. The engine is coupled to 6-speed automatic transmission. The capabilities of the car would be proved on a rally. Experts claim that the city streets are prepared well for such a car. As for the exterior, it can impress even an expert. The design with smooth lines of the blue-color body is stunning. The lights are half-halogen, which is rather symbolic. Impressive spoiler in the rear was added together with absolutely renewed rear windows. The body shell is made of carbon fiber, adding futuristic features to the concept car. The side-doors are made open by pulling them up, which is also very modern and impressive. The dimensions are the following: 433cm length, 123cm height.
The interior of the car is peculiar; the elements of the design are colored black and are made of carbon fiber. The central console has colored interface of the instrument panel. The seats are power-adjustable, equipped with Sabelt company’s belts.
The car is, of course, a renowned sport-oriented vehicle. It can hardly be used to tackle everyday needs. But on the whole, its design and engine’s characteristics are impressive. Sharp steering and breaks, powerful plant makes the car a very desirable object of admiration.
