Review:

Yamaha V also called Yamaha V-Max is a series of cruiser motorcycles equipped with famous V4 engine and produced by Japanese company since 1985. Yamaha V The history of Yamaha V series appearance is really interesting. John Reed himself was the one to design it and this series resulted to be the most popular muscle bike of that time. When it first appeared in 1985 it almost instantly received great critical acclaim and got the "Bike of the Year" title from Cycle Guide. During the years of its production Yamaha V-Max received several insignificant modifications. The exterior design modification was made in 1993 when some larger brakes and visible safety upgrades appeared, apart from that the Yamaha V-Max looks today exactly as it did in the first years of production. The engine option of this motorcycle includes a 1.197 cc DOHC V4 with liquid-cooled system that gives almost 113.5 hp (84.6 kW) of power and is supplemented with a five-speed transmission. 2005 was the year of a new Yamaha V-Max to be shown at Tokyo Motor Show. Yamaha Motor Company presented a completely renewed and upgraded bike with new chassis and braking components. In 2008 this new version of Yamaha V-Max was officially released and became available for people around Europe and North America. Among the new features of 2008 Yamaha V-Max is the new all-aluminum frame; the 1.679 liquid cooled DOHC V4 engine powered with Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake; new fuel tank beneath the seat; new anti-lock brakes; fully adjustable suspension and much more. Yamaha V The Chip Controlled Intake system replaced the usual V-Boost that was used on the previous models. It works by lifting the air horns inside the air box and opening the airway underneath them. This modification made the Yamaha V-Max even more powerful and easy to drive. And who wouldn’t want a great Yamaha bike that now has adjustable suspension and new V4 engine? No wonder new generation of Yamaha V-Max motorcycles became as popular today as its predecessors back in 1985.
