Vespa is the vintage trade mark of Piaggio group. The production of Scooter Vespa began in 1947 and more than 10 million copies were sold through all over the world. It became became a model to be copied both as a license and "pirated" for dozens of companies around the world - from Germany and the Soviet Union to the United States and Iran. Vehicles of this popular brand still finding admirers among both fans of classical style and amateur dynamic driving. All Vespa series scooters are bearing sheet steel cladding. Brand feature of classic Vespa scooters is engine circuit with horizontal cylinders and gas distribution using a cylindrical spool. Because of this many fans of the brand are considered "real" only vehicles of RH/T5 series, highlighting the "compact" classic Vespa in a separate category on the sole ground that at those models cylinder is located at an angle and gas distribution with piston. Vespa of the new generation represents a completely different car which debuted in late 1996. For sure the icon of Italian scooter manufacturer has much more chanses to cope with the ever-present financial problems. The cost of the scooter at European dealers will be around 4000 euros.
