Review:

Peugeot 301 is a series of compact French cars that will be produced in 2013. The official model launch took place at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It is already stated that the Peugeot 301 will not be available to buyers in the United Kingdom and eastern Europe. Peugeot 301 The new Peugeot 301 is designed using the PSA PF1 platform and has the following specifications: it is 444 cm in length and 265 in wheelbase. The engine options include three choices: the 1.2 liter petrol VTi with the 72 hp (54 kW) of capacity, the same that is installed on the Peugeot 208 series; the 1.6 liter petrol VTi with the capacity of 115 hp (86 kW) and the 1.6 liter diesel HDi with the 92 hp (69 kW) capacity. The transmission options are simple: the six-speed manual and automatic ones are available. The name 301 comes from the first 301 Peugeot series that appeared in 1932. The current 301 is the successor of the old series. There’s also another similar series, the Citroen C-Elysée that is expected to appear at the same time 301 does only on the different markets. Citroen C-Elysée is designed specifically for eastern Europe and Africa where the original 301 will not be available. It’s hard to tell the difference between these two models but technical characteristics are definitely different. The exterior design however is absolutely identical so there will be a Peugeot 301 for everyone in the world. Peugeot 301 The safety of this series is improved with some additional airbags and couple of systems installed as basic equipment. NCAP crush tests gave the Peugeot 301 three out of five stars for overall safety; the safest place in the car resulted to be in the driver’s and front passengers’ seats. There’s also a great feature package coming with this car, you can have every system you want and need when driving a Peugeot 301, beginning with the innovative audio system with USB and Ipod connectivity ports and ending with the awesome cruise control system that shows you every road condition and makes sure you don’t get stuck in traffic.
