One of the most famous German tuner, the one that specializes in completing BMW models and making unique designs from the existing vehicles, showed its new creation - M3 GT2 R. The car became the successor to the 600-hp powered M3 GT2 S 2010 model, and boasts with a significantly increased capacity. 720 horses is not something you simply install in the car, so G-Power engineers and designers may be proud.
This sports car has an 8-cylinder engine that received the Bavarian supercharger with the modest name SK III \"Sporty Drive\", a new crankshaft and a modified cooling system. As a result, the output increased from 600 hp to 720 horsepower and almost 700 Nm of torque.
The dynamic characteristics of new M3 that weights less than 1,500 kg (thanks to its carbon-fiber body) are as follows: the 100 km/hour speed starting from 0 this car makes in 3.7 seconds. Second hundred is achieved in 9.5 seconds, once again from 0, and the top speed is not limited electronically (thank god) and is 330 km/hour.
Electric version of M3 GT2 R from G-Power atelier got a reset suspension and 20-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Cup (245/30 and 315/25) tires. To stop from such high speeds this car has an enhanced braking system with 6- and 4-piston calipers in the front and rear respectively. As a result of “severe dieting” G-Power sports car lost its front seats - they were replaced by Recaro \"buckets\" instead, that are weighing 12 kg, and the sofa is installed in the back. The interior of the \"charged\" M3 is decorated with a safety cage.
G-Power representatives have already decided on the price tag for his creation – with a full ammunition (we mean the top option package) it costs € 195,310. A little pricey for a car which place is the track, don’t you think? However, M3 GT2 R is still completely legal to be used on public roads, so that’s a great car for the daily commute. Although it has a two-door body that is so impractical if you need to take your kids to school or help your mother-in-law get to her yoga class.
