The novelty’s body is made of aluminum alloy. In his construction company Galpin Auto Sports has worked in collaboration with Metalcrafters. Curb weight of the vehicle is about 1,360 pounds.

Galpin Ford GTR1 coupe debuted at Pebble Beach. Under the hood of such monster is the engine with not one mechanical supercharger, as previously assumed, but with two turbochargers. But the rest of the preliminary parameters were confirmed: the unit with V8 5.4-liter engine and 1024 hp of capacity and 1002 N • m of torque. Moreover, passport ratings for regular gasoline and high-octane fuel for AI-100 unit can issue a 1197 hp and 1203 N • m.

The original Ford GT was produced from 2004 to 2006. Overall, over 4 thousand coupes were made, so there are tons of vehicles to be remodeled. To get the exclusive model can only few lucky people fast enough to order it from the manufacturer. The reason is simple – Galpin never makes serial cars. The maximum speed of a Galpin Ford GTR1 is somewhat around 362 km / h. Acceleration from zero to 60 miles per hour (97 km / h) takes 3.1 seconds, for a hundred miles (161 km / h) - 6.8 seconds. The acceleration from 0 to 322 km / h takes only 18.9 seconds.

The vehicle that is based on the supercar Ford GT has the interior almost identical with the original one, which is not surprising, given the method of model building. Lots of aluminum and hand-made leather details were used in its finishing. New optics attempts to guess where would GT model come to if Ford continued its development.

And here’s the question that is on everybody’s mind – what about a serial vehicle? Engineers from Galpin Auto Sports offer to every potential customer the possibility to transform their Ford GT into a GTR1. So the car we see in front of us may represent a so called tuning, which apart from serious remodeling and technical stuffing includes an original body. The first example of its super car was presented by Galpin Atelier at Pebble Beach. Needless to say that this vehicle attracts the eye of every visitor.
