Restyled Toyota Land Cruiser SUV has received new optics with daytime running lights and a modified radiator grille. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, on the other hand, received significantly more visual changes. But the most interesting thing is that many interior changes were prepared for it in the salon. The new center console got larger panel consolidated management display with all off-road vehicle features and a large central handle of Multi-terrain Select that has five modes. The list of equipment also includes new collision warning system when the vehicle’s exiting a parking space in reverse. In addition, the three-liter turbo diesel of Land Cruiser has been modernized and now meets the requirements for exhaust emission of Euro 5 + fuel.
The company also states about a toolbar update that now has new color display emitting more information about the vehicle and its position on the road, as well as road’s conditions. Besides, improved seats in front and rear rows got new color options for trim fabrics.
Engineers have revised the usual suspension along with Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) for better stability and handling on the road, but without sacrificing off-road qualities of the vehicle itself.
In the interior of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado buyers will find new screens, lights and buttons. Japanese engineers and managers write that with the help of such elements they have tried to make the car’s controls more understandable even for a beginner. At the same time Land Cruiser’s brother was renewed too. New LED optics, radiator grille performed in the new corporate style, changed bumpers – these are the details that make GX look like it lost 10 years. The current generation of this series appeared in 2009. As for the technical characteristics, they are almost unchangeable, despite the exterior details of the car. That may be one of the reasons the price for new model didn’t grow too much compared to the competitors’ similar vehicles. The renewed GX has a 300 hp-powered 4.6 liter V8.
