The model of Peel Trident was the second attempt from the Peel Engineering Company in the category of ‘microcar’ that was done in three wheel base. Assembled at the plant of Isle of Man, the car was launched in the year of 1965 and was available till the year of 1966. The features that were loaded in this car to make it more appealing and attractive among car lovers include bubble top with two seater arrangement. It is also provided with an optional and adjustable shopping basket that has been stated as “a terrestrial flyer”. Other popular names that marked the popularity of the Peel trident vehicle are Saloon Scooter and shopping car.
Designed in similar style as its predecessor, this car is also produced in limited numbers, i.e. 45 units approximately.

The popularity of the Peel Trident was associated with its media appearance such as in the American tele-serial of Monster Garage. Even though this serial failed to impress the audience, the car was shown as the replica that was built and manufactured by Andy Carter at the United Kingdom.
