Honda started the production of huge and bulky motorbikes after the year 1982. Through the years the popularity of the bike wasn’t stable, that is why the company changed the main trends of its activity. Sometimes Honda failed to sell its bikes in some periods of time. But at the end of the twentieth century the demand on such motorcycles appeared again on the market. So Honda Nighthawk faced different experience when it was produced and sold during 20 years.
The engines, installed in the bike, became powerful year by year. The most recent versions are equipped with five-speed transmission. The shifting of speeds is done easily, creating a feeling of self-confidence especially for beginners. When taken together, the motor and gearbox are united to create a very manageable control and overall handling. Suspension makes acceleration and braking very quick to respond. As for the equipment installed on the dashboard, all the gauges and indicators are easy to reach and handle. It is easy to manage for those who start from scratch; it usually takes some days to remember the way the mechanisms work. After that the pilot can be sure of the right control.
As for the exterior of the vehicle, it is both very comfortable to use on the road and has classy looks. The shapes of the fuel tank, panels and bumpers are excellent in their quality and design. The front and rear parts of the vehicle are connected with smooth lines and don’t present any misbalance or contrast. The front side of the motorcycle is coupled to a nice fender which complements the overall design of the vehicle. As for the dashboard, its indicators have chrome finishes. This makes the front side look very stylish. The headlights are round in shape and respond to all the safety regulations, established in the world.
There are also standard spoke light weight wheels in most recent versions of Honda Nighthawk. The color of the body also changed: now the body is dominated by piano black color with chrome finishes of different indicators.
The bike is close to perfect for those who only begin to master the handling of a powerful motorcycle. The handling is very decent and gives confidence to any learner. But those who have some experience of riding a large two-wheel vehicle may enjoy comfortable ride and control opportunities.
