Renault to reveal its first ‘Initiale Paris’ at Paris Auto Show

Renault announced a plan to bring its new member in the premium car family in 2012. The new model was named as Initiale Paris the idea of the manufacturer Carlos Tavares the chief operating officer who is now the head of PSA Peugeot Citroen. On the footmarks of Citroen and Ford Vignale, Tavares planned to make sub- brand Initiale Paris of Renault. The new car is aimed to lure affluent buyers those who looks for premium cars in less price.

Just after one year of announcement, the car’s first glimpse as the Renault Initiale Paris. Now as per recent report of the automotive world news, launch of this new car is set to be in the upcoming Motor Show of Paris. The last year concept car showcased was a premium trim for family. The French carmakers already announced the first product of Initiale Paris to reach the showroom by 2015.


Initiale Paris will be a premium variant car among the standard Renault models and will not hold a detached branding. Renault is also bringing two more members to the premium offering. Among these luxury models manufactures is planning to bring C-segment and D-segment car in premium to compete against the Ford Vignale and Citreon DS.
