In the month of May Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover sells 38,831 vehicles. Till now 200,778 units of Jaguar Land Rover sold in this year.
Jaguar sales increased by success of F-Type convertible and launch of Coupe while for Land Rover, the Range Rover Sport and Evoque continue to deliver impressive sales performance. In this month 32,381 vehicles sold by Land Rover, marking 23 percent increase in its sales while 4% growth recorded by jaguar, which sold 6450 vehicles in this month.
In Indian market company recently launched locally assembled XJ with a price range of INR 92.1 lakh, ex-showroom Mumbai. The local assembling of the vehicle has helped the company to heavily reduce its vehicle price in the country from INR 1.16 crore to INR 92 lakh.
Jaguar XJ is powered by 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel engines gives power of 275 PS at 4,000 rpm and a sharp torque of 600 Nm at 2,000 rpm. XJ consist of eight-speed automatic gearbox and has a top speed of 250 kph and promises a fuel efficiency figure of 12.9 km/l. Featuring rear seat comfort pack, increased headroom, electric rear side window blinds, LED reading lights, 10.2 inch entertainment screens and a new business table.
