The 2014 Ford Fiesta was launched today by Ford India after the vehicle has been given a facelift. The Fiesta is now packed with a plush interior and several features that are not found in the segment. Another important feature is the Ford AppLink, the award winning SYNC, a hand-free smart in-car technology that allows the driver to keep in touch with the world while driving safely on the road.
Three trims will be available for the Ford Fiesta 2014 and they are named Ambiente, Trend and Titanium.
All three trims rest a 1.5 L Duratorq diesel engine in their bellies and the engine is fine tuned to produce an excellent fuel economy of 25.01kmpl. The ambient, the entry level Fiesta trims will be sold at a price of 769, 000INR, the Trend diesel following with 855,720INR and the top of the rung Titanium diesel costing a cool 929,449INR.
Nigel Harris, President of Ford India told newsman that the Ford portfolio for India is carefully compiled for driving enthusiasts known for choosing the best and the premium sedan is an attractive and compelling choice with its price in the segment. The SYNC was first inducted into the EcoSport for India and the same has been upgraded to suit the 2014 Ford Fiesta.
