Lincoln MKZ: The Luxurious And Featured Car From The German Maker

With an enticing and luxurious combination, the 2014 version of the Lincoln MKZ presents a much-likeable concept in the fiercely competitive medium-level luxury cars segment. The MKZ is offered as a standard two-wheel drive with four doors. The package is available in various select trims. The basic versions come packaged with a 2000 cubic capacity Eco-boost 4-cylinder engine. The turbocharged Eco-boost boasts of power capacity of 240 horsepower and an enviable 270 pound-feet of torque.

Another variation on the engine that is on offer with the MKZ is a 3700 cubic capacity V6 engine. This engine is capable of an output of an impressive 300 horsepower as well as 277 pound-feet of torque. The car is geared with a 6-speed automatic transmission system and paddled shifters. The all-wheel drive on offer from Lincoln is an ‘intelligent’ system which enables the driver to have an enhanced handling as well as control on the car. This is because the smart sense in the system redirects power to the appropriate wheel to build the most favourable traction over a variety of road conditions. The Hybrid version of the MKZ is powered by a 2000 cubic capacity hybrid-electric power-train designed on the Atkinson-cycle. The hybrid version offers a respectable 188 horsepower.
