After sitting on the sideline of the premium and full-size sedan arena for long years now, Infiniti is now setting it tight for action. The automaker’s opening gunfire is an amazing Q80 Inspiration concept, which is making its debut in the 2014 Paris Auto show. More than just being a showpiece candy, this fastback model is expected to be a blueprint of the future Infiniti market model.
The model Q80 Inspiration Concept gives a close glimpse of the future and the past rumors for the still-future cars. The aerodynamic body style with metallic color and highly sleek and sloppy body frame helps the model to go much smoother at the higher speeds. The glass-free doors are not a much point of issue as the blueprints are expected to go for the further improvements. The official dimensions and out sketch is not finalized yet, still there are precise estimations as per the expectations of the experts.
The Q80 Inspiration Concept is expected to be 198.9-inch long, and will be about 7.6 inches smaller in length than the S550 of Mercedes-Benz, which means it is still pretty large. Infiniti is wider than the Benz of the same class, with its girth measuring 79.8 inches whereas the same of Benz is 74.8. However, the wheelbase comparison between these two is pretty at a draw, still having a further modification hope.
Now as you have the figures pretty handy, getting into the interior, you will find the fine trimmed leather, highly refined carbon fiber, and aluminum. The seating arrangement is called “1+1+1+1” which means the car offers ample room for four full-size passengers. There is also a full-length sunroof made out of lightweight acoustic glass. The car lacks door mirrors, which, in fact, is a plus feature as there is nothing to break the sturdy flow of body lines.
