An unexpected Lamborghini is being announced on their media pages and is expected to debut in the Paris Auto Show premiering next week. It is a car and expected to be something entirely refreshed from the conventional Lamborghini. What you get to see is some black and white photos only. The side window looks a bit longer. The two latest models from Lamborghini as Huracán and Aventador have stunted side glass.
These are typical two-seated, mid-engine sports coupes. Now, with the new photos, Lamborghini has also hinted that the new car may be named as something like Asterion, and with a capacity of more than two seats. The welcome statement on their invitation to the vehicles debut in the Paris Auto Show reads like “Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it.”
The new Lamborghini Asterion model takes the perfection to the new level of outstanding performance and with the top speed of 199 mph. The model is optimized for going from 0 to 100 within 3.0 seconds of short time frame. Being the hybrid model, the Lamborghini Asterion goes as swift as 78 mph on the electric motor, perfectly adding the optimum performance in the mighty drivetrain of PHEV V10 module. The images reveal much more than what it rumored in the media.
It is inferred from the images that the new car may be a mid-engine wedge-shaped Lamborghini, which features a taller roof and also the rear quarter windows, which peek into the backseat (if so!!). The Lamborghini of the 1960s, 400GT (which was a two plus two model) is also pictured in the magazine, which also strengthen the assumption that what is cooking is a Lamborghini sports car with back seat. However, it is just one more week’s wait, and we get to see it.
