Mercedes’ S600 Maybach is Elegantly Crafted, Superbly Designed and to be Unveiled Soon at Los Angeles Auto Show
The official release of the new Maybach S600 by Mercedes will be at the Los Angeles Auto Show. However, ahead of the release the automakers seems to have involved in teasing tactics for the faithful followers. The luxury carmakers have revealed a few pictures of the new limousine prior to its official unveiling. Of the two images which have already become a cause of discussion one gives a brief glimpse of the rear seats while the other showcases the much iconic Maybach name up front and in the middle of the boot is a three pointed star.
The styling of the new Maybach is expected to be along the lines of S-Class, although an increase of approximately 10 inches in length as compared to the LWB model will also be seen. This increment is to serve as a boon for passengers in the rear; they will consequently have more legroom, evident also through the images released as a tease. The images also give ample peek of the luxurious interior teamed with craftsmanship visible through weaved, luxury aircraft style reclining rear seats.
The engine expected to power this astounding model is a V12 twin turbo 6litre engine, with the capacity of delivering 522bhp power and a peak torque of 830Nm. The chances that another model, more powerful, utilizing S65 AMG’s version of a similar engine can also be offered. This will although come with the ability of churning out a torque of 1,000Nm and power 620bhp. The official unveiling is just round the corner, and an expected price of the entry level Maybach model can be around $200,000 (Rs 1.22 crore). A VR9 level ballistic protection offering armored version may also be for offering. The launch of Mercedes in India although is still a big question, unanswered yet. The CBU route might be used for customers desperately wishing to own one though.
