The Porsche 911 GT3 is the top notch sports icon of Zuffenhausen’s nastiest and sharpest versions. But the GT34S RS grabs the knob and dial to reach the insanity level to 11. Well, the 2016 model was spied going through the cold weather testing by spy photographers and was found completely without any camouflage wraps in the Arctic Circle. What they saw was absolutely wicked.
The GT3 RS models have always been found to be different from the regular models noticeably but this one too does not veer away from that. The fender gills which witnessed on the Porsche was big and brash and was nothing like seen before and very much confirmed with the toy version which was leaked to the media in October and assured it is the same thing we previewed earlier.
There was indication that center lock wheels and carbon-ceramic-brakes the size of satellite dish are present in the vehicle and the giveaway was the yellow calipers. This hugely indicate the serious track orientation of the razor sharp Porsche. We however do not expect anything less than this to wear out the snow tires of the vehicle. On the outside serious down force has been activated by the presence of huge platform wing combined with duckbill spoiler on decklid and the air is evacuated through the heat extractors.
The expectation is that the beast of the track will be powered by a 4.0 L flat-six cylinder previously witnessed in the 911 GTS RS of 2012. Earlier it gained around 500hp from the naturally aspirated engine and for the 2016 it is likely to gain 25 more additional horsepower. Is not it exciting? Right now we have no more words to express but can surely say we cannot wait to see the GT3 RS scream down the strait while we are seated in it.
