The Mustang Shelby GT350R was revealed only on Monday by Ford but already we are received leaked information which was not given to us by the automaker. GallopingFord, member of the Mustang 6G forums has posted what resembles like an order form officially printed for the brute GT350 and the lighter and sharper track beast GT350R.
We certainly not in agreement with the legitimacy of the ordering guide fully but the understanding we have been given the 2015 models of GT350 will have the first which the form seems to be confirming. Details such as the 5.2 Liter V-8 engine’s horsepower, torque ratings are yet to be decided on the paperwork and Ford is yet to give them to us. The seven-page documents have plenty of details to give when you scroll through them. There are details such as the carbon-ceramic front brakes offered as standard equipment, and the tires that the R model wears are wider by 10mm on both ends. A standard GT wears 295s and 305s against the wider 305s and 315s.
The R model also gets an aluminum rear bumper beam, unique chin splitter, and exclusive chassis tuning, and all these are standard. This over the optional rack Package offered goodies for the GT350. This includes heavy duty front springs, MagneRide, selectable drive modes and engine/transmission, differential coolers. As it was stated in the release of the Mustang GT350R anything which is not connected to the quicker lap time is optional. An empty center stack is standard in the R models, and luxury features like eight-inch Navi screen, seven-speaker stereo system, dual zone climate control, side mirror-mounted turn signals are part of the Electronic Package.
There is no seat or trunk upholstery even your R model is fully loaded, and it is assured. The full ordering guide also gives detail of color availability and the internal name code for the GT350 is 900A and the track oriented GT350R is known as 920A.
