The Porsche Turbo 911 to soon come with an Updated Version

The first unveiling of the 2014 version of Porsche 911 Turbo occurred in the May of 2013, and the reputed car maker is already all set to come up with updated vehicle this year. A winter testing version, slightly camouflaged prototype of the facelifted model to come off the same was recently seen doing the rounds.

The spotted prototype being minimally disguised left scope for the reviewer to see for itself the changes which the model is to bear. Alterations which stand out the most could be seen in the form of daytime running lights, a new bumper and also included is a rear skirt that comes with tail lamps. The spy shot which could be achieved of the interiors of the revised Porsche 911 Turbo highlights upon the fact that besides the changes to the infotainment system there does not seem to be many variations inside. Differentiating this model from the current 911 turbo in terms of interior is the inclusion of new switches on the infotainment system, also found is that the system got a new screen.

With regards to, if any, the alterations in the powertrain of the car is yet unknown for lack of any definite and official information. However, the ongoing model is powered through a 3.8 litre flat 6-petrol mill. This unit comes with an ability of churning out power of 520bhp. The same engine in a more powerful Turbo S version can easily produce 560bhp of power. The power is transmitted to all the four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A potent feature of the Turbo 911 is that it can accelerate from 0-100kmph within an impressive 3.2seconds, whereas the Turbo S version can achieve the same in 3.1 seconds. The unveiling of this updated version may happen soon.
