Skoda announced the start of preordering process for the new Fabia Sochi and Yeti Sochi – special modifications designed for Russian market and dedicated to the 2014 Olympic Winter Games that will take place in Sochi. These Sochi modifications differ from the original ones by the lighter body color (white or silver metallic), special “Sochi 2014” logo and some additional options as well as different trim levels.
The all-wheel drive Yeti Sochi crossover is equipped with 1.8 liter petrol TSI engine with the capacity of 152 horse powers supplemented with the six-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. The option package includes the following equipment: multifunctional steering wheel with four spokes, separate heating for the front window, front passenger’s seat that is fully folded back and the Climatronic air-conditioning system.
The special package includes the system that also keeps the vehicle on the rough roads (HHC) and the tire pressure sensor (RKA). Yeti Sochi may also be distinguished by its large 17-inch alloy wheels painted in black and silver, matching silver roof rails and black side moldings and the “Sochi” logo placed on the wings of the car as well as its trunk and door sills.
The salon upholstery is made of dark blue fabric that matches the exterior perfectly. The price of this special Sochi Yeti version starts from $ 33.300.
Fabia Sochi is offered with a black roof, front fog lights, leather steering wheel with three spokes, 15-inch alloy wheels, Chrystal Onyx trim option and the same Climatronic air-conditioning system as its brother has. The “Sochi” logo is placed on the front fenders. The engine package includes three options: the 1.2 liter one with 70 hp of capacity, 1.4 liter with 86 hp and 1.6 liter with 105 hp of capacity.
