The newest generation trucks with articulated frame was presented by Caterpillar. The B Series includes three machines: 735B with the capacity of 32.7 tons, 740B ( 39.5 tons) and dumper truck 740B EJ, equipped with ejector body, carrying the load of 38 tons.
Depending on the needs of customers from all around the world, power units of the dumper trucks conform to the requirements of Tier2/Stage2 or Tier 4 Interim / Stage IIIB.
All machines are equipped with upgraded gearboxes and traction control systems to improve performance. In addition, to ensure comfortable working conditions, they have a fully upgraded cab.
Manufacturer significantly upgraded the drive system on six wheels. Thanks to the installation of the system with traction control with fully proportional distribution of torque, there is no need for the operator to adjust the traction manually in harsh operating conditions. The system of proportional thrust control allows to adjust automatically the degree of cross-axle differential lockup and the intermediate axle differential in accordance with the road conditions.
Optimized proportional thrust improves traction on any surface, reducing cycle times and increasing productivity.
Partial movement of the throttle at low speeds increases a fuel efficiency, improving performance and control during the gear changes.
For operators of the Caterpillar trucks are created ideal conditions. On the updated dashboard is installed the color multifunction display, which shows the useful operational information such as fuel level, the state of the automatic lubrication, load and temperature of the basic machine systems. In addition, on the the display is shown the image from the rear camera, which automatically starts on turn-on of the reverse gear.
For the driver there is a comfortable adjustable seat, made of high-strength materials to guarantee a long life. As an option, the seat may be equipped with a heater. Comfortable climate in the cab is provided by the improved heating and air conditioning systems.
