KTM Freeride 350 is enduro, which actually changes your understanding of motorcycles. Weight is provided by not miniature size of the \"childish\" motorcycle and turned through the use of high quality components: a fully adjustable fork and other.
It looks pretty strange. There is no leaner anger of \"combat\" enduro, but at the same time, there is no \"loose\" laxity of Japanese trial bikes. Freeride has rather \"civil\" ergonomics, allowing the rider easily change the position of the body during active piloting.
The bike has a long and narrow seat which is hinged at the front. The gas tank filler neck and easily accessible air filter are beneath it. Fuel tank capacity is only 5.5 liters. But, according to the assurances of developers, the motorcycle is so economical that even this amount is sufficient for long walks on the road. The tank is transparent, making it easy to identify the presence of fuel in it.
And for the \"on the go\" control the dashboard is equipped with warning light of reserve.
The frame is designed, as the saying goes, \"from scratch.\" And it\'s made not just of chrome-moly alloy, in the best tradition of MWC. It is combined! The main steel structure is bolted to the elements of the aluminum parts. Thus, according to Austrian engineers, it is possible to reduce weight of the finished product and to increase its torsional rigidity. The third element of the frame - the sub-frame - is made of plastic! It is also attached to the entire construction with bolts. Also, the new frame has absolutely original geometry and sharp angle of the steering column. All of these factors, according to the engineers, should give the bike excellent maneuverability and high speed stability. And the use of aluminum and plastic molded parts can make it even more technologically advanced product. The new aluminum pendulum of rear suspension weighs only 3.2 kg.
Calm 350 cc Freeride 350 four-stroke engine produces 23 hp, which is enough, as the bike is designed not for professionals.
The KTM Freeride 350 has a very cleverly made exhaust pipe, which passes within the frame and goes under the saddle, so it is almost impossible to damage the exhaust.
