Review:
My first vehicle, Mazda 3 for the 2011 model year, was in automobile accident. I did not consider restoration appropriate. I thought what car to buy. I did not want a second-hand car. And, after the long circulations on the salons and searches on the Internet, I made a list of wish for my future car. Without insurance policy my budget was about $25000. I wanted a sport hatchback, with more than 105 horsepower engine. Gasoline consumption in this class of vehicles is approximately equally. Powerful motor, automatic transmission and interior of a car must be comfortable – that is everything what I wanted. I thought about Ford Focus, Volkswagen Polo, Opel Astra, and some models of KIA. But I was shocked. When I sat in these cars, I understood that it was wrong. Cheap Chinese plastic and poor interior were in their interiors. I was disappointed with these models. In this moment I thought to buy new Mazda 3 again.
But suddenly I saw an advertising Audi A1 for the 2012 model year. It cost $25000. Equipment packages were not exclusive, and there were three conditions:
1. Trade-in.
2. Optional equipment
3. Insurance policy
But it was the best variant. I went to the salon, and I understood…I wanted this car. Its exterior and front view were staggering. I bought Audi A1. And I think it is a good purchase. I like driving this car! I drove many cars, like Land-Cruiser or Porshe, and I can say that Audi A1 is worth this money. It keeps abreast of the best cars. I use the car every day. I go to university and job. It is about 100 km per day. In a few days I am going to track, and I think it will be amazing!
Advantages:
- Automatic transmission is excellent! I do not even notice switching of transmission. Or just cause of tachometer.
- Powerful motor. I like kick-down when the light changed before continuing.
- Qualitative interior of car. It is not like cheap Chinese plastic.
- Good sound system. It can be better, but it cost more expensive.
- Suspension of Audi A1 is very soft, but controllability is very good. Especially it is noticeable when turning the vehicle. Realignments are relatively simple and calm.
- Gasoline consumption is about 8 liters in the city, and about 6-7 liters on the highway.
- Ship's agency service is not very expensive.
Disadvantages:
- Trunk is very small. But I need not bigger.
- When you drive all over the town, it is quiet. But on the highway, by speed 80+ km, the arches of car are noisy.
-You have to get accustomed to the system « start-stop»
- If you want to buy the Optional equipment from dealer, I have to let you know beforehand that it is very expensive.
