Officially a new Chevrolet Matiz was introduced to European public on the Geneva Car Show. A new Chevrolet Matiz is similar to the Asian version, does not recall the conceptual Matiz M3X, which was presented last fall. The serial car is more boring, trivial.

The new one became larger than older generation car. The total length is 3,5 meters. Chevrolet Matiz is completed with engines of the previous versions: 0,8 liter (three-cylinder) engine, delivering up to 52 horsepower or with 1,0 liter (four-cylinder) engine. A set of transmissions remains the same.

Externally Matiz was remaines almost the same. So only the slightly modernized form of body panels, the rear rack, and of course a new view of the front end, including original headlights can be noticed. The interior has received new modern and decoration materials. It is worth recalling that in Europe the record sales of the old Matiz, reached 630 000 cars. So the new product, more modern and convenient, with the same price, can encrease the sales.
