The model of car «A6» has been let out by company «Maserati» in 1946. Long time the given car showed the high high-speed parameters and stability on a road covering. Thus, company «Maserati» has made a decision to replace model «A6 GCS/53» on newer the car. In 1955 the company has let out 3 new models of cars which were based on use of 4 cylinder engines. The car «Maserati 200s» has been developed for a two-liter class of cars «A6 GCS/53». The new car became the twenty eighth racing car which has been let out by company «Maserati» in Italy.
To the basic advantages of the car concern: high high-speed parameters, good stability on road, high parameters of controllability and maneuverability. High speed of the car is maybe reached at use of the powerful engine. Designers used a number of technical modifications that have allowed to lower weight of the car. The weight of the car makes 670 kg.

The engine of the car «Maserati 200s» has volume of 2,0 liters and capacity of 190 horsepower’s at 7500 turns in a minute.
