Dodge 2500 is also known as the Ram or the Dodge Ram. It is marketed by the Chrysler Group LLC. It is sold under the brand, Ram Truck. The name ‘Ram’ had been used in the year 1981 following the retirement and rebadging of the pickup trucks of the Dodge D Series including the vans of the B-series. Currently in its fourth generation, the Ram Truck has been termed as the Truck of the Year for 4 times by the Motor Trend magazine. The truck is manufactured at Coahuila, Mexico and Michigan, United States.

 The Dodge 2500 owns a competitive place in the market including a fresh four-door cab styled offering. This one comes with a new suspension, an option for a new engine and the novel storage system known as the Rambox that allows secure storage within the bed walls of the truck. The PowerTech V8 is all of 4.7 L or 287 cu in. The Hemi engine which accommodates 5.7 liters has a total output of407 pound-feet and 390 horsepower. For the 2012 model, the capacity of the torque has been enhanced to 800 pound feet.

 The models received a renovation for 2013 including HD RAM models such as the Dodge 2500, 4500 Chassis Cab, 3500 Chassis Cab and the 5500 Chassis Cab. They had the same attributes as the lighter counterparts, although the new 6 speed automatic transmissions were made a standard throughout the lineup.
