Series 62 as produced by Cadillac was pretty familiar and quite popular as the models come produced in few generations. Among the other creation of this reputed manufacturer Cadillac 62 is very famous. Even today also vintage car collector will like to add one of these models into the collection. They looked upon this model with great respect. The first generation cars were under production for a period of a single year. The model is included under coupe variety and comes fitted with two doors. Series 62 were also available as sedan fitted with four doors and also with convertible fitted with four doors. This first series models are noted down with the inclusion of L-head V8 engine as it results in the production of 135 horsepower. In the end the car was capable of producing 150 horsepower.

The year 1946 initiated the production of second generation of cars as available in three different body styles. The second generation is best designed on C body platform of the cars. Monobloc 346 inch V8 engines stand here for power supply. This is the first vehicle produced immediately after the war.

The third generation models are good enough to produce 160 horsepower as it performs with promptness and the engines are quite well responsive. The models as produced in three generation gain equal prominence. Hence it is remembered even today by the car enthusiasts or those interested about vintage versions.
