Bugatti showed the Black Bess a special Veyron at the Beijing Motor Show this year. This is in line with the homage being paid by Bugatti to the Alsation Marque’s eventful history. The car is the fifth in the Legend series and this time it is Roland Garros the French aviator. Bugatti has released a video for its promotional campaign which shows the black Vitesse roadster in stunning form.
Bugatti won’t be requiring any assistance in the selling of the Black Bess legend editions because there will be only three units to sell.
In spite of the astonishing $3 million price Bugatti has managed to sell all the earlier 4 legend editions. It has helped Bugatti to move last of the examples before it goes on to open another page in its history.
Similar to any Vitesse, this edition also inducts a 6.0 L, quad turbo w16 power plant spewing 1,184bhp to all four rollers. What separates this special edition from the other is the glossy black paint, unique decorated cream leather cabin and 24-carat gold accents. The interior is inscribed with classic Bugatti airplanes and T18s on door panels which may look silly, but it definitely adds to the striking appearance of the vehicle.
