McLaren has set all for the global debut of its new car named McLaren 675LT; next month when the Geneva Motor Show will be held, this new car will be debuted globally there in that auto show. This new car will be one model among the super series of McLaren: 650S and 625C. It has been told that the car will be a purest, quickest, and lightest model of the range as well.
According to the automaker, while building this car, much attention has been paid on the increased down-force, reduced-weight, driver engagement, power as well as performance optimized aerodynamics. This new car will be incorporated with boosted power; the 650S is capable to deliver 641 bhp because it is incorporated into staple twin-turbocharged engine of McLaren which is V8 3.8 liter engine, while this new car will be capable of delivering 666bhp of power; however, no word have been disclosed about the performance of this new car.
It is expected that this new car will be somewhat similar to 650S with regard to its shape; however, it has also been reported that the front bumper of the car will incorporate different design; besides, side air take would be mounted a bit low, and its rear end would be elongated. It is also being told that the weight of the vehicle will also be 100 kg lesser than that of 650S, so the weight of new car will be around 1230 kg dry. Initially, only 250 units of this car will be produced. This new car will be built track focused car. We may also see a track focus version too.
With the release of this new car, McLaren’s sports car range will have one more car into this range. This sports range at present includes P1, P1 GTR, 625C, and 650C.
