Tata has been working on facelifted version of Tata Safari Storm. The manufacturer may launch this vehicle any time as the vehicle has been seen running on the road while testing the vehicle so it can be said that the facelift version of it may come soon. Some days earlier, some spy shots have been released that helps clear the inside picture of the vehicle. 

If you see this facelifted vehicle from the outside, you will notice no change as this new vehicle has equipped with the overall design as the current vehicle has been. However, some minor changes that offer premium feel can be observed. When you see the dash board of the vehicle, you will notice that in place of the faux wood trim, silver accents has been incorporated. 

The company has removed the four spoke old steering wheel, and a new multi-functional wheel has been placed there, this steering has been borrowed from the Tata Zest. You will see the central console equipped with the music system which incorporates a radio besides AUX-in connectivity, USB, and CD. However, the automaker has not made any effort to make changes with the upholstery and interior trim; they are alike the current model.

The test mule of the Safari Storme Facelift that has been shown in previous spy shorts was wearing badges ‘VARICOR 400’. This badge indicates towards the code given to the modified 2.2-liter power mill of the SUV. This is a four pot diesel engine which is capable to churn-out 154 bhp of power. The number 400 mentioned into the badge is to giving the hint to the torque that this vehicle turn-out. This is the same engine that has been displaced by the Hexa concept that was presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
